Job Location: Fremont, California, United States
Work with automotive Battery Management System (BMS) development team with the responsibilities of developing and validating next generation of electric vehicle products. Specifically, lead hardware-in-the Loop (“HIL”) system setup and optimization, design and implement HIL simulation environments; utilize knowledge of Matlab/Simulink & dSPACE environments (Controldesk, Automationdesk) into the working projects, understand the system functions and develop plant models used on the HIL environment; employ NI Testing Software such as LabView, TestStand, VeriStand to devise strategies to test complicated embedded software system and create automated testing methods, drive validation of products during various development stages; create plant models, test plans and test cases, derive requirements and supporting documentation; work closely with the algorithm, software, hardware, and calibration engineers to understand product requirements and derive test strategies and test plans, provide assistance to automation team with execution of validation-related automation deliverables; participate among cross-functional teams and lead project initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards; and make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality assurance. Skills in Labview, MATLAB, Simulink are required.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
